Practo - Consult Doctor Online App Reviews

This is a good application. But its not practically much use when it comes to save records. For example, I want to save my Mothers and Fathers records separately. Also there is no possibility to write some description about those records. For example, i want to put my mothers name, respective doctors name and date of that record. If its not available like that, then how can we know which record is what. We just have to open every record until the desired record is found.

It would have totally awesome if this app is 6+ friendly !!

Waste of time! Wrong info and misguiding app! No credibility

They dont have a podiatrist as a speciality and they claim they are the best app in Doctors ....huh !

I visited psychiatrist yesterday, I was completely dissatisfied with this psychiatrist, please kindly be advised when patients write negative reviews which is obviously a fact of statement. It was not published at all as a matter of fact. You will only see more positive reviews rather negative reviews almost to none. This company trying to be more biased with doctors & cant handle any form of negative criticism. Please be aware of using this app as they do not publish negative reviews even though you know the truth. Bad & biased company app with bad policy.

App stuck on splash screen, still wondering how app clears review process...

I tried booking an appointment with a famous doctor with almost 5 star rating, I had appointment at 11:15, I was asked to wait for half an hour, then at 10:45 they asked me to wait for more 1 hour(this was a WhatsApp call from practo). In sometime, I just got a message that your consultation is cancelled, reason being in person appointment is needed, doctor didn’t even talk to me, how do they know what problem I have and if I need a video or in person consultation. Very unprofessional behavior. I feel cheated, my time and money won’t come back. Never trust these people.

The app helped me to connect to the doctor within few minutes and Doctor Gabri was awesome with his treatment

I waited 1 hour for the consultation. But which on chat with the doctor , the doctor cancelled the consultation Dr Krishan Rajbar ENT specialist And now they are just giving a refund with no the next doctor

Unable to join video call

After upgrading my mobile, I downloaded Practo & installed. How we it is not recognizing my mobile now. It couldn’t send the OTP. I tried all options & with no help

Tried to sign for several time in last three days but still didn’t get any OTP or Call from Practo

They have this location feature which lets you connect with a doctor in your preferred city but that is only for fooling you. They would connect to any random zolachap doctor from any random city. When you complain to customer care about that theyll say sorry we cant do anything about that.

I booked an in-clinic appointment for a senior citizen. While on the way to the clinic, the Practo representative called saying appt needs to be rescheduled as Clinic has changed the timings. This is when my mom travelled for 1 hr and had reached the clinic. Once back home, the app didn’t allow to reschedule as it needs to be done 2 hrs prior the appt which we couldn’t as we got the call late from Practo. When we contacted the chat and call center, we were told to wait for 24-48 hrs to hear back from their back end team. I would suggest getting in-clinic appt directly from the clinics and not rely on Practo for that.

Doctor was great but the app is not. Was unable to speak or hear the Doc. Had issues calling and connecting.

App is having some load issues. Sometimes app doesn’t respond properly.

The app never works. Always "Something went wrong". Google pay option is stuck indefinitely.

one issue- when I clicked on notification, the message window kept loading and fell in a loop.

Practo charges higher than doctor fees. The consultation time i got was much lower. I was scheduled for 1 hr but got only 20 mins with doctor.

My mother has recently tested positive for Covid 19 unfortunately I am in the US right now. Recently my mother symptoms started going little worse and so I thought it would be safe if my mother has a doctor who she could speak to if she faces any issue. She is currently alone with my father and of course unable to check her phone. I downloaded Practo on her behalf and took a package of 1600 rs which would provide 5 online consultations and 24/7 follow up on messages for one month. To my surprise, the doctor (Dr Anil Kumar Angadi) called and spoke to my cousin brother (just 4 minutes) and completed consultation without even speaking to the patient (my mother) even once.He should have ideally rescheduled if my mother was not available. I am unable to understand how can a doctor complete consultation without even speaking to the patient even once. The doctor prescribed medication without consulting my mom. She is having severe headache in left side. My mom tried reaching the doctor so many times but unfortunately no one responded. I have been trying to reach Practo customer service from the last 24 hours but again no one responded. Where is humanity in this pandemic? This is the time when we all should come together and it is really sad to see everyone just making money out of this somebody’s difficult phase.

You only publish those reviews which are favourable to you and your doctor. You don’t do it for negative reviews. You should grow up to face reality.

Practo is a great product - to get immediate consultation from experts while sitting at home. Though it will never be able to replace actual Doctor clinic visits, you’ll get second opinions quickly. However they’ve created so much nuisance in the name of technology automation and scaling, In less than 24 hours, I’ve received 10+ SMS, at least 20+ Notifications, at least 7 automated calls. Looks they’ve given the guns to monkeys who don’t know how to handle it. Practo leaders: please look in to it and stop harassing your paying customers. Limit all SMS / Notifications / Calls to no more than 1-2 per day. Also, Practo’s Shopping cart functionality is so flawed. You can not combine more than one prescription in one order. Every time you click back, your cart is empty again. Practo leaders: Please order some medications yourself from multiple consultations and see for yourself how poorly designed it is. Doctor allocation is random, they will select the doctor that is allocated to you and you have no way to ensure you get a great doctor. They should at least allow us to shortlist 2 doctors from which they can give one to us. For one of the consultation that completed in 3 minutes, the specialist asked me to go see a specialist in my city and do an in person visit, she is right. But she is from another city, so now I need to pay to another doctor for in person visit - this is duplication of cost for me.

1. Most doctors on practo plus are junior/ inexperienced. 2. Long wait times before start of consultation (even after you are matched with a doctor). 3. Video call feature does not work.

Call features not always work ..it’s frustrating when you are not able to talk to doctor

The doctor finished the consultation without informing and the next day I tried contacting him to ask about the blood reports for which he did not reply and practo says we don’t have to do anything with that. Hats off.. RIP CUSTOMER SERVICE & practo would never recommend it to anyone.

They allow only 5 MB attachment to be sent to doctor which is often small size for what we get from lab work. They only open chat with doctor 5 mins before.

Did not accept my Citibank debit card . No error no details. Very difficult to setup payment for new users

Hello, I have been trying to buy 15 free consultation package and it doesn’t allow me to make payment . Single consultation payment is ok. However the button to make payment for practo plus is unresponsive. It seems a big with iPhone 12 mini experience

Video calls unable receive and call. But only audio calls are working.

Never buy from Practo . They jackup price jackup price after payment and take several days to deliver . Unprofessional service

This is a decent app. But it would be better if I am allowed to choose a doctor of my choice rather than the app autoselecting a doctor for me. We spend hours to find a perfect doctor and after finding a right doctor this app sends us to some other doctor by autosearch.I think we should be allowed to make a selection of our choice.

Thanks to this app and the people behind it, it will give you good guide , pre idea about doctors reputations and actual cases stories. It will help you to have more clear pictures by giving information and real evaluation. Then remaining is to go with your own experience . I benefited a lot from it and urge any person looking for medical related issues to use it too.

App is good, if you select doctors yourself you will be satisfied But as soon as you pay for practo plus You can select doctors System will assign you random doctors and those are diploma holders and beginners Our grandparents know better that those of them So I would suggest don’t go for practo plus It’s not helpful

Hi, so I was quite impressed with this app and used it for my kid as well as for myself. During this epidemic time we cannot afford to go outside and visit a doc, thankfully my kid’s doc and my 1st doc were great and knowledgeable, my doc R.V Bhavya Swetha diagnosed the problem right away and wrote some tests and on the same day my chat was closed, it still shows that I’ve 50 messages for further help but after communicating with customer service 3-4 times I’ve been finally told that Dr. Swetha has disabled the availability butyon and only docs have the control over it, practo can’t do anything from their end. So my question is then who is taking the responsibility of her patients? And what about follow ups ? I’ve gone for the tests and spent my money but now there is no doc to read the test results and help me further with the issue. After a heated conversation practo provided me a coupon to see another doc, well that doc looked uninterested, see didn’t even read my test reports and after pointing her out that where my results doesn’t seem good she said oh yeah I see that thing isn’t right and on constant poking she finally looked irritated and responded with a supplement name. Looks like they lure you with good docs and then they give you a whole new mediocre doc. Unfortunately I bought the practo plus and now waiting for my refund. I don’t trust this app anymore and would never suggest anyone to use it. A big scam.

Crashes.

I paid the doctor fees of 550 and told the doctor my problem on chat, he asked for my reports and ended the consultation- procto and doctor Rohan Jaju just ate the fees I gave and I got no medical services in return - they don’t tell you you have time limits for getting reports and practo and this doctor declined my request to allow time to get them the reports - they just stole my money. Stay away for these thieves. Horrible experience of being cheated in broad daylight. Apple - please take down these cheaters app from your store.

I am based in United States and I often travel to Bangalore, India for my company's official trips. I was always skeptical about consulting a doctor in India until I met Dr Roma Haider. My co worker recommended her to me and boy I am so glad that she did. Dr Roma is an outstanding professional with tons of experience under her belt. She was so gentle yet effective with handling all my major dental issues . Her dental clinic and equipment is top of the line - much better that what I see in the US. And what makes this clinic stand out even more from the rest is of course the Doctor herself. I was so impressed with Dr Roma's skills and knowledge. She treats her patients like family and follows all necessary protocols and procedures. I am her fan for life and I will always make sure that I go to her for my dental check ups every time I travel to Bangalore. Highly recommended!

This is a great app and concept however, I discovered that when my ophthalmologist’s office makes an appointment for me it stays only on the web and does not populate the mobile app at all! If such basic issues can not be made available to the patient then what is the purpose of this app? It becomes useless and is a waste of time despite it having such good prospects. I hope the developers will take this into account and include the information in the mobile app thereby making it convenient for the patient. So far I have not been able to use it due this basic flaw. Hopefully this critique will not fall on deaf ears and this basic requirement will be addressed.

Why is it searchable and downloadable in US app store if it doesn’t supported here?

They took 35$ for an online consultation. The doctor didn’t appear to speak good English and took a lot of time to respond. All he told me is that I should consult a doctor. I feel it’s just a huge rip off.

Here is a completely honest review. This app has TRULY HELPED ME. You can speak to doctors online as advertised. Usually within 2 minutes of searching. Sometimes the doctors don’t reply right away, but about 70% of the time they do. I understand they are actual doctors and they are only from India, time zones are different and they must have a busy schedule themselves. However, these doctors do try to help you. If you have a question about anything that’s wrong with you, they will ask you questions and try to figure out the problem. They can send you prescriptions, which I don’t usually go with, I would stick with your actual doctor for that. They can give you recommendations of what you should do, whether it means taking rest, or seeing a physician in person to take a certain type of test to see what results show. The Practo doctor will be interested to see the results to understand what is going on, so they can further help you and give you a second opinion. All in all, this app helped me in terrible times. I would love too see it increase in doctors, especially from other countries such as the U.S! The concept is great and I am truly grateful for what it has done for me. If you need a doctor to talk to, I certainly recommend giving this app a try.

India only provides doctors to talk to on this app. Pathetic! What a waste of time.

Earlier it was working fine, but all sudden it's crashing continuously and I am not able to use it at all😡😡😡 I have deleted the old app and install new one but still it's crashing 😡😡😡 Not able to use the app at all.

There is no online slot booking, there is call option which is again traditional way. No use of the app
